D1 Arrival at Lijiang and Gear&Equipment check

Arrival at Lijiang and check-in in the hotel, our staff will hold a briefing with members, Gear&Equipment check and sign the agreement with members.   You can visit Lijiang Ancient Town where is crossing the street from our stayed hotel.

D2 Lijiang — Shangri-La ­— Feilai Temple

Depart from Lijiang in the morning, driving along Golden Sand River, we will pass through Xiaozhongdian grassland, have lunch in Benzilan town.   On the Baimang Snow Mountain Pass , you will meet magnificent plateau scenery.   We will arrive at Feilai Temple in Deqin and check in local boutique hotel, autumn is the best time to see the beautiful sunset of Meili Snow Mountain.

Time：driving 360km 8 hours

Altitude:   Bamang Pass 4292m, Feilai Temple 3400m

D3 Feilai Temple — Xidang   ­— Upper Yubeng

You can't miss the sunrise in the morning, the magnificent Meili Snow Mountain turning into golden sunshine mountain! After breakfast, drive to the starting point of – Xidang village, 7km uphill to Nanzong Pass where is densely covered with prayer flags, then downhill 3km to the mysterious Yubeng Village, and stay at Yubeng Village guesthouse.

Note: Team member may choose to take jeep to Yubeng village from Xidang around cost 200-300CNY/person at own responsibility. And would be dusty on the way if the jeep passing-by, using mask is good duiring your today's hiking.

Time：driving 30km 1 hour, 10km hiking 5-6 hours

Altitude:   Xidang 2635m, Nanzong Pass 3729m,   Upper Yubeng 3228m

D4 Upper Yubeng – Meili Base Camp – Glacial Lake – Upper Yubeng

After breakfast, we go! We will hike on the forest trail, crossing the pass, downhill to the river and passing through the woods. We will firstly arrive at Meili Snow Mountain Base Camp located on the meadow, take a short break, keep hiking to the glacial lake at 3864m. After that, we will return to Upper Yubeng at same way.

Time：12 km hiking 6-8 hours

Altitude:   Base Camp 3623m,Glacial Lake 3864m

D5 Upper Yubeng   – Lower Yubeng – Waterfall – Lower Yubeng

After breakfast, we transfer to Lower Yubeng village, then heading to Yubeng holy waterfall. Go through the forest, walk slowly on the trail along the riverside, and finally walk up to the foot of the waterfall. You will see prayer flags flying and Pilgrims receive the baptism of the waterfall water from Meili Snow Mountain! After that, the same way returns to Lower Yubeng Village.

Time：12 km hiking 6-8 hours

Altitude:   Lower Yubeng 3054m, Waterfall 3657m

D6 Lower Yubeng – God Lake – Lower Yubeng

Today's hiking will be a challenge! Each member may decide to stay in Yubeng for a relax day. The group leader will also give advice whether the member is suitable to the hiking based on individual. If to go, firstly acrossing a bridge, then turn on the hillside and mountain trail, continue climbing, passing through forests and arrive at the pasture, finally reach God Lake. Standing at God Lake, you would have fantastic views of Meili and Yubeng Village. The same way returns to Lower Yubeng Village.

Time：12 km hiking 9-10 hours

Altitude:   Lower Yubeng 3054m, God Lake 4460m

D7 Lower Yubeng – Ninong – Shangri-La

Today is the last hiking day, we will slowly descend and happily following the direction of the Yubeng River.

Afternoon will arrive at Ninong village, riverside on Lancang river ( the upper part of Mekong river),our bus is waiting here for transferring to Shangri-La town. Stay at Shangri-La Boutique Hotel, you can go sightseeing in Dukezong Ancient town during the evening.

Accommodation: Boutique Shangri-La Hotel, twin-bed room

Time：14 km hiking 5-7 hours , driving 200km 5 hours

Altitude:   Lower Yubeng 3054m, Ninong 2150m, Shangri-La 3300m

D8 Shangri-La – Lijiang

Half day for free time. The team members can visit the Songzanlin Templ after breakfast, the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan, known as the "Little Potala Palace".

We will take the bus back to Lijiang at 13:00pm, return to Lijiang around 17:00pm. Taking into account the instability of traffic on the road, it is recommended to book the return flight after 20:00 pm or the next day.

【Requirement】

18-65 years old, the member must physically fit to the hiking, any major physical injuries, undergone surgery,   chronic disease etc information must declare. Prior 3000m+ altitude hiking experience could be a plus.
