DAY 1   Arrival at Chengdu Gear&Equipment check

Arrival at Chengdu, check-in the Hampton by Hilton Chengdu hotel( or same class).    We will have Gear&Equipment check and hold itinerary berifing ,also sign the trekking agreement.

Food: Self-responsible

Accommodation: Chengdu Hotel, twin-bed room

Altitude: Chengdu 500m

DAY 2 Chengdu-Kangding-Laoyulin-Hydro Power Station-Gexi Grassland 310km

Today we will start from Chengdu, drive on Chengdu–Ya’an Expressway then turn to G318 highway,we will enjoy beautiful natural sceneries and meet Qingyi River, Dadu River. After Kangding city,we will continue to Laoyuling and Gexi grassland by driving. We will camp at Gexi Grassland.

Food: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner  

Accommodation: Gexi Grassland Camping

Time: 9 hours by driving

Altitude: Gexi Grassland 3400m

DAY 3 Gexi Grassland-8km-Liangcha River Valley-8km- Upper Riwuqie-2km- Reddomain BC

After breakfast, we will hike up the mountain. Along the way, we can enjoy the spectacular Tianhaizi Peak (6070m), Little Konka (6027m), also see the Red Stone River Beach, pass by Liangchahe and Upper Riwuqie places. We will arrive in Reddomain base camp before the evening.

Time: 9 hours trekking for 18km

Altitude: Reddomain   Base Camp 4550m

DAY 4   Reddomain Glacier and Lake

Today we wil visit Reddomain glacier, have chance to enjoy the glacier travel and boating on the glacial lake. Afterwards return to Reddomain base camp.

Accommodation: Reddomain Base Camp Camping

Time: 2 hours trekking for 3km

Altitude: Reddomain   Base Camp 4550m

DAY 5 Reddomain BC -3km-Riwuqie Pass-12km-Moxi Valley-9km-Winter Pasture

Today is a challenging day! We will hike up to Riwuqie Pass 4900m, the biggest challenge on the whole trekking. However on the hiking-up,you have a chance to enjoy the scenery of Redomain,Riquqie peaks and glacial lake. After pass, you enter into Moxi Valley - Winter Pasture of Minya Konka region and have a wonderful view of Daddomain Peak and lake.

Time: 8 hours trekking for 24km

Altitude: Winter Pasture Camp 3800m

DAY 6 Winter Pasture-18km-Konka Temple

We will trek along Moxi Valley to Konka Temple, you will meet Daddomain and Langermanyin Peaks on the valley. Take carefully when cross the valley river. Slowly going up to Konka Temple -   Pilgrimage destination for local Tibetan.   Konka Temple is also the best place to enjoy the stunning view of   Minya Konka 7556m.

Time: 9 hours trekking for 18km

Altitude: Konka Temple 3750m

DAY 7 Konka Temple-7km-Lower Zimei Village -11KM（by car）- Zimei Pass-11KM（by car）-Lower Zimei Village

Today is a short trekking day. We leave Konka Temple, relatively gentle downhill to Lower Zimei Village. Afterwards we will take local car to Zimei Pass. Here, you can enjoy a stunning view of Minya Konka, then return to Lower Zimei Village by car.

Accommodation: Zimei Village Dorm. Bed or Camping

Time: 2 hours trekking for 7km                                   

Altitude: Zimei Pass 4550m Zimei Village 3200m

DAY 8 Lower Zimei Village-9km-Bawang Lake-7km- Boundary Tablet-30km（by car）-Caoke

After breakfast, we will walk in the valley and watch the beautiful mountains and rivers. We will also hike along lakeside of Bawang Lake and go through the forest. Our bus will pick up at Boundary Tablet then send to the Caoke town, now we eventually complete the trekking of Minya Konka! Enjoy boutique hot spring and celebration dinner tonight.

Time: 6 hours trekking for 16km             

Altitude: Bawang Lake 3200m Caoke 1500m

DAY 9 Caoke-Shimian-266km-Chengdu

We return to Chengdu from Caoke by Shimian along Dadu River, will arrive in Chengdu after 15:00pm as usual. The unstable road conditions would cause the high risk of traffic jam, suggest that you book the return flight after 20:00pm.

Time: 5 hours driving

Altitude: Chengdu 500m

Backpack: Backpack 50-70L(main luggage for horse carrying), small bag 30L( day bag)

Sleeping bags and clothing: Sleeping bag (comfort rating -5 degrees), Waterproof jacket, Fleece jacket and trouser, Down jacket, Fleece cap, Waterproof gloves , 2+ pairs of socks

Shoes and other accessories: Sunglasses, Stick, Thermal mug（0.5-1L）, Trekking shoes , Gaiters, Sunscreen (SPF35 and above), Headtorch (with spare battery), Raincoat, waterproof bag for protection sleeping bag.

【PUBLIC EQUIPMENT】

Canteen tents (400*400*190), tables, chairs, cookware, food, fuel, walkie-talkies, satellite phones, emergency oxygen and medicine. Camping tent and mattress for members.

【REQUIREMENT】

Each member should have prior high altitude 4000m+ trekking or hiking experience

【PAYMENT】

The deposit payment 2000CNY should be paid 20 days before DAY 1 for the reservation your place. The remaining payment should be done before the departure of Chengdu.   All payments will NOT be refundable after trip starts due to personal reasons.
