Dangling党岭 is located in Hengduan mountains, Danba, Sichuan, China. It is celebrated for its pristine alpine lakes, wild hot springs, snow-capped peaks, and traditional Tibetan culture. In the Dangling trek, you can explore three stunning lakes—Jiayilacuo Lake,Zhuoyongcuo Lake and Hulu Lake， across 4550m mountain pass.

Yala Snow Mountain 雅拉雪山,5820 m, it is located at the junction of Kangding, Daofu and Danba counties in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan,china. Yala Snow Mountain is highly attractive by its short itinerary and fascinating natural scenery, across 4200m mountain pass and meets the jade-green YalaYouTse Lake.

The trek will have a chance to complete both Dangling and Mt.Yala popluar trek destinations in 6 days.

Xiaqiangla Peak (5470m)-夏羌拉, the main peak of Dangling Snow Mountain,  It is surrounded by 28 snow-capped peaks and faces to 4300m Zhuoyongcuo Lake.

Zhuoyongcuo Lake 卓雍措, 4300m,, the largest lake in the Dangling, you can enjoy a panorama of snow mountains and  view lower 4100m Hulu Lake.

Hulu Lake 葫芦海, 4100m, named for its distinctive gourd-like shape, it perfectly reflects the surrounding snow-capped mountains and dense forests.

Jiayilacuo Lake 甲依拉措,4100m, Its waters maintain an milky color, surrounded by lush forests. From Jiayila lake, you can accross mountain pass to Zhuoyongcuo Lake.

YalaYouTse Lake 雅拉友措,3980m, is the site for ceremonial gatherings during festivals and rituals, there are many five-colored prayer's flags around the lake at the foot of Mt Yala.

Trek will hike 33 kilometers, climb over 2 mountain passes at the altitude of 4200-4550 meters, climb a total of 1300 meters, descend 1900 meters. Trekker shoud have prior 4000m hiking experience to attend this trek.

The trekking season for Dangling and Mt.Yala  is from July to October,both flower summer and colorful autumn is the most beautiful seasons in the Dangling and Yala snow mountain.

DAY 1 Chengdu（500m)

DAY 2 Chengdu -Danba-Dangling (3400m)

DAY 3 Dangling village -Jiayilacuo Lake - Mountain Pass(4550m)- Zhuoyongcuo Lake - Hulu Lake camp 13km (4100m)

DAY 4 Hulu Lake camp - Dangling village 6km (3400m) transfer to Danba（1800m)

DAY 5 Danban - YalaYouTse Lake - Mountain Pass (4200m) - Zhonggu Village  14km(3000m)

DAY 6 Zhonggu Village - Chengdu (500m)

DAY 1 Arrival at Chengdu and Gear&Equipment check

Arrival at Chengdu and check-in in the hotel, our staff will hold a briefing with members, Gear&Equipment check and sign the agreement with members.

DAY 2 Chengdu - Danba - Dangling (3400m)

Depart from Chengdu in the morning, we will pass through Mt.Siguniang, you will meet magnificent plateau scenery.  Then continues journey along the river valley, pass through Danba, arrive Dangling village.

Food: Three Meals

Accommodation: Dangling guesthouse,twin-bed room

Time：driving 400km 8 hours

Altitude:  Balang Pass 4200m, Dangling 3400m

DAY 3 Dangling village -Jiayilacuo Lake - Mountain Pass(4550m)- Zhuoyongcuo Lake - Hulu Lake camp 16km (4100m)

After breakfast, take a 30-minute drive to Kaerza village, take a short motorbike to Jiayilacuo. From here, we will start the Dangling hike, ascending 500m to mountain pass, where you can overlook the largest lake in the Dangling area—Zhuoyongcuo Lake. In the afternoon, descend to Zhuoyongcuo Lake, continues descending to Hulu Lake by passing rocky and forest trails. Overnight stay in the lakeside camp.

Accommodation:  Hulu Lake Camping includes sleeping bag

Time：driving 12km a half hour, 13km hiking 6-7 hours

Altitude:  Jiayilacuo Lake 4100m, Mountain pass 4550m,  Zhuoyong Lake 4300m, Hulu Lake 4100m

DAY 4 Hulu Lake camp - Dangling village 10km (3400m) transfer to Danba(1800m)

After breakfast, we will hike down to airplane meadow along the Kelou River Valley, continues going down to Dangling village, completes Dangling trek. Transfer to Danba hotel for overnight stay.

Accommodation: Danba Hotel, twin-bed room

Time: driving 70km 2-3 hours, 6km hiking 3-4 hours

Altitude: Danba 1800m

DAY 5 Danba - YalaYouTse Lake - Mountain Pass (4200m) - Zhonggu Village  14km(3000m)

We set off from Danba to Yala Snow Mountain Scenic Area. We take a sightseeing vehicle to reach the hiking starting point We hike up to YalaYouTse Lake, pass by the Twin Lakes and cross the mountain pass, descend to Xindianzi where take pick-up car to Zhonggu Village. Enjoy hot spring and overnight stay in Zhonggu Village.

Accommodation: Zhonggu Village Guesthouse, twin-bed room

Time: driving 75km 2 hour, 14km hiking 6-8 hours

Altitude: YalaYouTse Lake 3980m Mountain Pass 4200m Zhonggu Village 3000m

DAY 6 Zhonggu Village - Chengdu (500m)

From Zhonggu Village back to Chengdu (500m) by 14:00pm.  Return flight should be booked after 18:00pm.

Food: Breakfast and Lunch, Self-responsible dinner

Accommodation: Self-managed

Time: driving 300km 4 hours

【PRICE INCLUDES】

1 Transportation:  Chengdu - Dangling - Mt.Yala - Chengdu, includes the motorbike from Kaerza village to Jiayilacuo Lake, Mt.Yala tourist bus, pick-up from Xindianzi to Zhonggu Village

2 Accommodation:  all accommodations listed in the itinerary, 4 nights hotel/guesthouse accommodation(twin-bed room), 1 night camping (1 tent for 2 team members)

3 Camping: Trekking tent for 2 persons, , including sleeping bag and matress

4 Tickets: Dangling, Jiayilacuo Lake, Mt. Yala

5 Catering: Day 2 B/L/D, Day 3-5 B/D, Day6 B/L. The camping dinner will have 4 dishes with hot drinks such as hot water, coffee and tea. The camping breakfast will have hot drinks, noodle soup/bread or pancakes, eggs or Ham etc.

Backpack: Backpack 60L+ or Transport Bag 80-100L (main luggage for vehicle ), small bag 30L( day bag)

Clothing: Waterproof jacket, Fleece jacket and trouser, Down jacket, Fleece cap, gloves , 2+ pairs of socks

Shoes and other accessories: Sunglasses, Stick, Thermal mug（1L）, Waterproof Trekking shoes , Gaiters, Sunscreen (SPF35 and above), Headtorch (with spare battery), Raincoat, waterproof bag for protection clothing.

【PUBLIC EQUIPMENT】

Canteen tents, tables, chairs, cookware, food, fuel, walkie-talkies, satellite phones,, emergency oxygen and medicine. Camping tent and mattress, sleeping bag for members.

【REQUIREMENT】

18-65 years old, the member must physically fit to the trekking, any major physical injuries, undergone surgery,  chronic disease etc information must declare. Prior trekking or camping in altitude above 4000m is a must.

Precautions for registration:

Participants must be healthy and not having heart disease, hypertension, asthma, mental illness and other diseases.

All the participants need to follow the organization of the trip leaders. Otherwise you should bear your own consequences caused by your own behaviors. We hereby declare that Masherbrum will not have any joint liability of the unpredictable accidents caused by Environment or any accidents caused by the participants’ mistake during the trip.

【PAYMENT】

The deposit payment 2000CNYshould be paid 30 days before DAY 1 for the reservation your place. The remaining payment should be done before DAY 1.The payment refund will not happen due to member personal reason.
